This little pod is really the sweetest thing for a newborn baby. My mom crocheted it for us. She said it was very easy to make. The hat is just a teensy bit too small on my son, but that is because all of my kids have large heads - lucky me ;p

Her Crochet Beanie

The first project I am adding this weekend is from my mom. She is the one who taught me to sew, and she loves to crochet and knit as well. Growing up, she sewed all our outfits at the dining table and made us hats, scarves & mittens for the winter. She wants to teach me how to crochet and knit, but I am not ready yet. I still have way too many sewing projects that inspire me! Maybe next year...
